Frequently Asked Questions:

Do I need to place a deposit to book?

Yes. There is a non refundable deposit that is due at the time of booking your appointment. The deposit is $100 and will come off of the final cost of the tattoo. If your tattoo takes multiple sessions to complete, the deposit is applied during the final session. Payments are secure and are done through Square.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I take all debit/credit cards as well as cash payment. I do not use Venmo, PayPal, or Cashapp for payments.

Numbing Cream?

I’m not COMPLETELY against numbing cream usage. I do think that if it’s your first tattoo, you should see what a tattoo feels like. You might be a little surprised at how tolerable it is.

That being said, I do recommend numbing cream if we’re doing rib or sternum tattoos. If you’re really bony in that area there can be a higher chance of pain and numbing cream can help make the process easier.

Not all numbing creams are created equal, and the FDA has warned against the usage of them. You can read more about that here.

If you do plan on using a numbing cream, make sure it is made for tattooing. I usually recommend Mad Rabbit or Tattoo Numbing Cream Company. Tattoo Numbing Cream Company is listed on the FDA page, but I have used it for myself and was happy with the results.

Can I bring a support person?

Of course! I do ask that you limit the number of people with you to one unless there’s a group of you getting tattooed.

Can my children come with me?

My shop is for people that are 18+ only. Children are not allowed in the studio. Creating a tattoo for you requires my full concentration, and you being able to sit still and not worry about if your kiddo is running around. I also like to think of this as a good break time for a parent. This is about you. Your tattoo. Your experience. I want you to feel relaxed and comfortable and have a bit of ‘you’ time.

I also have the mouth of a sailor and will swear. A lot.

Do you ever have walk-in hours?

Occasionally I have time for walk-ins. When I do, I’ll make a post on my instagram page. Usually in my stories or on my last minute cancellations channel. I’m in a private studio, so I usually work by appointment only.

What should I do for my tattoo aftercare?

I have a section of my website dedicated just to this! You can find it here.
